Mission:
Involve children in the Christian community of the Church to bring them closer to God and His word.
Vision:
To address the needs of children attending the West Des Moines United Methodist Church and provide opportunities to enhance and nurture their spiritual and emotional growth.
Tasks/Team's Accountability:
Team members take on responsibilities for yearly activities involving the children of the church. Each activity is assigned a leader and a team to perform the task. All activities are supervised by the Director of Christian Education.

- Palm Sunday Parade
- Easter Butterfly Celebration
- Selecting Vacation Bible School Program
- Provide information on Camp Sunday
- Put together material for Children's Welcome Wagon
2nd Quarter (April-June)
- Vacation Bible School program in July
- Recruiting summer Sunday School teachers
- Prepare for Rally Day (God's Grand Celebration)
- Plan for 3rd grade Bible Event
3rd Quarter (July-September)
- Recruit Teaching Teams for Sunday school and King's Kids Club
- Bible Presentation to 3rd graders
- Determining the Christmas program
4th Quarter (October-December)

- Children's Time in front of the church
