Mission Statement:
To be "the voice" of the youth at the church, as they participate in such things as SPR or other committee meetings when asked, to give their feelings and opinions on specific matters.

•  The Youth Leadership Team is a committee of 10 Sr.High Youth selected to represent and help lead the Youth Ministries at WDMUMC. 
• The Youth Leadership Team are selected individuals who are devoted and committed participates of the Youth Ministry Program. 
• They meet monthly to discuss and plan activities for the Youth Group, the service projects/mission trips of the Youth Group, and they plan FOOTSTEPS. 
• Footsteps is a student-led, student-taught Youth Service that is held every Wednesday Night from 7:30-8:30. 
• The Youth Leadership Team plans the music, they teach the lessons, and they give the announcements, welcome visitors, and facilitate the Prayer Groups. 
• The Youth Leadership Team works hand and hand with the Director of Youth Ministries, Jamey Owen, to provide an awesome, Christ-centered ministry program for the youth at WDMUMC.
