Mission Statement:
To be the primary lay representatives of the congregation; to lead in developing and setting church vision and policy and to be a connection point for planning and assessment with the Senior Pastor.
General Responsibilities:
Serve on the Nominations and Personnel Committee, the Finance Committee, the Board of Trustees, the Church Council, and the Church Conference, as well as other committees as appropriate.
Meet regularly with the pastor to discuss the state of the church and the opportunities for ministry.
Take part in Study and training opportunities in order to understand the church and its mission.
Inform laypersons of training opportunities provided by the annual Conference or District.
Specific Program Responsibilities: As above.
Responsibilities:
Critique in a constructive manner.
Identify and Prioritize issues.
Help heal divisive factions and provide stability.
Help move others into leadership roles.
Liason with pastors and members.
