Confirmation is a time for young people to learn about the basics of the Christian faith and the United Methodist Church. The program begins each fall and continues through the following spring. Those who choose to make a commitment to the church in response to this experience are confirmed and become full members of the church. Confirmation involves large and small group meetings, attendance at worship and Footsteps, retreats and other special events throughout the year. The program is open to young people in eighth grade and up.
