Footsteps is our "youth group meeting" for students grades 7-12 that meets from 6:30-8:30pm during the school year on Wednesday nights (minus holiday times). We do a variety of activities together focusing on the core essentials of becoming a disciple of Jesus: we've broken these down into four categories--TALK IT, WALK IT, LEARN IT, BURN IT.
*Once a month we go offsite to Scooter's Coffee shop (1st St) to encourage one another, share our lives, and build real connecting relationships in small covenant groups. (TALK IT)
*Once a month we go off site to bring God's love and learn what he is doing in the midst of our community, serving and helping where we feel called. (WALK IT)
*Twice a month we study teen relevant topics, learning what the Bible has to say about them. We worship with contemporary music and pray for one another. (LEARN IT)
*Quarterly, we go offsite to do something that is sheer fun, and we can burn off some of our youthful energy! Activities include laser tag, snow tubing, bowling, skating, scavenger hunts, or whatever we want to do! (BURN IT)
