Every year we take our Confirmation Students and any other 7th-12th
grader who would like to attend to the annual United Methodist Youth
Gathering called "Youth Strike for Christ."  This is a great experience
for Youth to get a big dose of God's Love!  Students are encouraged and
challenged by people who share their spiritual gifts in various
forms--speaking, music, and comedy. They are also put in a place where
they can tune out their everyday distractions to hear God--walking
through a contemplative prayer chapel, disconnecting from cell phones
and making real connections in small group discussions, and spending
time alone with their Bibles.
