Nancy Setchell was born in St. Louis, Missouri but has lived in the Des Moines area for over 40 years. She is married to Brian and they have three children—Cristi, Alli and Nate.
Nancy has served as the Director of Parents’ Morning Out (PMO) since May 1990 and as Director of West Des Moines United Methodist Preschool since August 1999. Her duties include overseeing the operation of both programs. The favorite part of the job for Nancy is the people. She says she loves the families—parents and children. She also says she has a great staff with which to work.
Nancy has a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in exceptional children from Iowa State University. She enjoys playing golf, spending time with her family and singing. Her passion is to help others, especially people in need.
